Is it Teacup Tuesday already? Where did the week go? Here is my entry.
My life seems like a blur right now. My son graduated from Texas State University with a masters in Sociology Friday. After 7 years of school he is finally going out in the mean old world to look for a job. He has always worked part time all through collage and was a graduate assisstant while in graduate school but everyone knows it's not the same as real job. Please pray for him so that he may find a job, otherwise he will have to come home and live with us again. Lol! You know I love my son and want him home with me but I would much rather have him working.
Anywhooo My entry this week for teacup Tuesday is this lovely pink floral cup. I'm a sucker for pink and roses. I have this set displayed in my foo foo bedroom.

Hi Charlie, Congrats to your son what an accomplishment!! Love your pink tea cup it has a bit of a modern flair to it I could see using this often~ Lovely flowers in side. Did you just open an Etsy shop or did I miss that last time?
ReplyDeleteI will have to pop over to look at your other lovely things. (I am hoping to open a shop soon) ~ Theresa

Very sweet cup; love it. I know what you mean about your son. Our youngest son graduated in December and could not find a job. Jobs in SC are really not going well. However they are doing some summer job stuff now, but he is doing his National Guard training now until July. We are so hoping he finds some work when he gets done with the training. It is really hard when he is at home unemployed , putting applications everywhere and not getting anything. Discouraging and just plain hard. We have been praying for God's direction in his life. He had to get this training done and that made finding a job harder. We hope that when this is over he will find something!!!
ReplyDeleteYour teacup is lovely - I love when they carry the design into the cup itself, and that pretty pink color is so feminine.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your son on his graduation; and big hugs to you and his dad for raising him with the drive and gumption to accomplish his dreams.
WE'LL BE PRAYING THE RIGHT JOB FINDS HIM.
Hugs,
Penny
